WA Removals Scholarship
Are you a bright student who wants to earn a scholarship to support your studies? At WA Removals, we are awarding $2,000 to one successful scholarship applicant every year.
Step 1
Carefully read eligibility criteria and follow the instructions outlined below under "How to Enter".
Step 2
Submit your scholarship application to us before the indicated closing date. We'll then review your submission along with all the other scholarship applications.
Step 3
After our careful review of all scholarship applications, we will select one lucky student who is awarded $2,000.

Overview
As one of the leading Perth removalists, we need to be able to adapt to changes in our society, learn about people's living arrangements and keep up to date with current trends affecting the moving industry.
Applicants are tasked to perform research concerning these trends which in term will help us keep abreast of changes in our society.
It's also a great way for us to support students with their studies and the constantly increasing costs of living. Due to our success over the years, we feel the need to give something back to the community.
In saying that, we wish all applicants the best of luck and we look forward to receiving your submission.
How to Enter/Apply For The Scholarship
Write a 1,500 word essay containing your own research on the future of living arrangements in our society and how it affects the relocation industry. In addition, we ask you to produce a 3 minute video explaining your thoughts on camera.
Ideas on what to include in your essay and video:
- Explore trends pertaining to statistics on living in metropolitan areas vs rural areas.
- Research on how often people move to a new home and how far they relocate.
- Find information on regional moving, interstate removals and international relocation shifts.
- Analyse shifts in home ownership vs. renting.
- Investigate how people choose to relocate (moving services vs hiring a truck, etc..).
- Trends on what people expect from a removal service.
The above is not exclusive and merely provides some ideas. It's however entirely up to you what you choose to write about - as long as it meets the topic criteria.
Eligibility Criteria & Rules
- Students applying must be enrolled with a high school, college or university.
- This scholarship is available for students in Australia, USA, Canada and Europe.
- Successful applicants are required to submit a copy to proof their enrolment as a full-time student.
- WA Removals reserves the right to reject incomplete applications or plagiarised submissions.
- Essay and video submissions must be made in the English language.
- We reserve the right to re-use and publish any material on our website and social media platforms.
- Any breach of our terms can result in the withdrawal of your scholarship submission and award.
Submission Deadline & Award Details
- Our scholarship will be awarded on 31st July of each year.
- The deadline for submitting your essay and video is 30th June.
- Submit your essay and video to info@waremovals.com.au.
- Winners will be contacted directly via email.
- Due to the volume of applications we receive, unsuccessful applicants may not receive a response.
